The advantages of being a Barnard woman extend beyond commencement
The Alumnae ID card is your passport into Barnard’s buildings, classrooms, libraries, computing facilities and athletic facilities.
As a Barnard Alumna, you can add to your Barnard education long after you receive your diploma.
Alumnae may audit classes at Barnard for free and receive discounted tuition rates at Columbia. Alumnae can also take individual classes for credit or enroll in a post-baccalaureate program here on campus. The Barnard and Columbia libraries are available to alumnae and offer borrowing privilege packages.
Barnard wants to help you continue your education off campus too!
When applying for graduate or professional studies after graduating from Barnard, alumnae can visit the Dean of Studies office for advising. And don’t overlook the Alumnae Fellowship for Graduate Study, available to alumnae who enroll in full-time graduate study.
Full access to the Alumnae Network!
This website offers a variety of tools to help you network with other alumnae. Find old friends, make new ones; find jobs, mentors, interns, or prospective hires; post your resume or a job opening at your company; there's even a classifieds section to find a room to rent or sell your old computer.
Events, workshops and more
And don’t forget the programming that Barnard organizes for alumnae, which range from
leadership and mentoring opportunities to traveling the globe with
your fellow alumnae! Reunion is a wonderful opportunity to reunite with classmates, professors, and the campus. And Financial Fluency workshops are a great way to continue the real-world education you began at Barnard, and to protect your financial health.
Dig in and take advantage of all the privileges your Barnard degree offers you!
