Sandra Goldmark, theatre, designs set for The Boys in the Band
In addition to teaching set design to Barnard students, Sandra Goldmark is a working set designer for many New York City plays. She is currently the set designer for Mart Crowley's The Boys in the Band, put on by The Transport Group.

Translation Across the Disciplines
Listen to audio and watch video from a previous Translations Across Disciplines event, "History (Mis-)Translated: US History According to Foreign Textbooks" A talk with Dana Lindaman, co-author (with Kyle Ward) of the highly praised History Lessons: How Textbooks from Around the World Portray U.S. History. The talk provides sometimes hilarious, often sobering answers to that question by looking at what the world's history textbooks say about America. By juxtaposing contrasting versions of the historical events that we take for granted, Lindaman offers nothing less than a map of emotional responses to American political power.
