Alumna in Action, January 2010: Ashley Fargnoli ’05
“I always knew that whatever I did with my life, it had to involve dance,” says Ashley Fargnoli, who began dancing soon after she learned to walk. As a teenager a decade later, she caught a PBS special on UNICEF and decided just as firmly “that I wanted to do humanitarian work as well.”

Alumna in Action, December 2009: Greta Meyers '08
Being published in a respected journal is a significant accomplishment for any graduate student. For Greta Meyers ’08, now a research assistant at Yale Medical School studying auto-immune diseases like Type 1 diabetes in an immunology lab, being second author of a paper featured in the journal Conservation Genetics earlier this fall, has further fueled her professional ambitions.
